HBO sebenarnya sempat melakukan penawaran atas tebusan yang diminta peretas. Perusahaan ini menyanggupi untuk membayar senilai USD 250 ribu atau senilai Rp 3,3 miliar. Namun penawaran tersebut ditolak mentah-mentah seiring dibocorkannya koleksi serial yang disebutkan di atas.

"(Meminta tebusan senilai) gaji kami selama enam bulan dalam bentuk bitcoin," ujar hacker dalam video tebusannya. Mereka mengklaim dalam sehari, organisasi miliknya bisa meraih setidaknya USD 15 juta atau setara Rp 200 miliar. (Source: Detikcom)

Over 20 Banks Join Singapore-Hong Kong Blockchain Trade Network

Members of the central banks of Singapore and Hong Kong have revealed that a number of banks have now joined their recently announced blockchain-based trade network.
