HBO sebenarnya sempat melakukan penawaran atas tebusan yang diminta peretas. Perusahaan ini menyanggupi untuk membayar senilai USD 250 ribu atau senilai Rp 3,3 miliar. Namun penawaran tersebut ditolak mentah-mentah seiring dibocorkannya koleksi serial yang disebutkan di atas.

"(Meminta tebusan senilai) gaji kami selama enam bulan dalam bentuk bitcoin," ujar hacker dalam video tebusannya. Mereka mengklaim dalam sehari, organisasi miliknya bisa meraih setidaknya USD 15 juta atau setara Rp 200 miliar. (Source: Detikcom)

Kemudian saya mencoba mencari videonya tapi belum ketemu. Kalau agan-agan ada yang tahu infonya bisa dishare di sini juga.

Saya kira "budaya" yang ada di deepweb yang selama ini saya tahu hanya berupa "informasi dangkal" kini berwujud nyata, tentunya terkait dengan pdoses transaksinya yang katanya berupa bitcoin.
